Rainbow Advocacy is a LGBTQ+ Civil Rights, Social Action and Advocacy 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting LGBTQIA+ community-building, economic and health-related initiatives and programs, with local, national and global reach. It was established in 1996 and inspired by revolutionary human rights advocate Rev. Troy Perry, co-founder of LA PRIDE / Christopher Street West and founder of the international Metropolitan Community Churches denomination.
Our mission is to create programs and projects elevating issues impacting the lives of LGBTQIA+ people around the world, through arts, educational and community honors programming in association with individuals and partner organizations. Through this process, we are able to enhance the global Pride movement of compassion and amplify the voices of the LGBTQIA+ community. |
